An essential read for a wrestling fan, Blood Red Turns Dollar Green by Paul O’Brien – A Short Review

7E706CF8-505D-4B8B-AD72-B8ADC5B78CD3Being a Wrestling fan myself, I have read various autobiographies by wrestlers such as Mick Foley and Chris Jericho. However, I had never read an fictional tale about Wrestling. The real life stories are amazing and it is always funny to hear to get up behind the scenes but Paul O’Brien brings something different as he imagines a Wrestling world even wackier then it already is through his trilogy Blood Red Turns Dollar Green. His books imagining the crazy world paralleling the genius Vince McMahon, such as the taking of territory to make a national franchise. Paul O’Brien showing he knows the Wrestling business, and he offers a human look from behind the scenes. His book tailor made to die hard wrestling fans. The book following the life’s of promoter and New York owner Danny Garland who is Vinny Mac-Esque along side the newbie to the business Lenny Long.
